2002 Chevy Venture Hvac Fan Only Works On High If the blower resistor was changed with the correct one and now matter what speed you choose other than off it runs it at high speed either the wiring from the heater controller is shorted or more than likely the heater control is bad as depending on what you select it will send power down 5 different wires and either the heater controller is bad inside and no matter what setting you select. Heater ac fan only works on high. i suspect the blower resistor which i just bought at the dealership. my '99 silverado looks like a '98 and has the 5.0 v8 so i wondered if the place i bought it had it advertised wrong. i found out mine is the 'carryover model'. this i believe makes a difference where the resistor is.
